Making high quality routine equine healthcare as available as possible, to as many horses as possible, is one of our core values. We operate zone visits throughout our coverage area, which includes parts of Cheltenham and The Cotswolds, Birmingham and the Midlands, Northampton, Buckingham, Oxford, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

We offer our clients pre-bookable visits with no call-out fees for routine work. Our equine vets carry out a range of services as part of our zone visits scheme, including vaccinations, dentistry, prescription rechecks, ACTH blood samples, passports and microchips, and examination of non-emergency conditions such as minor skin complaints. We offer our zone visits in certain areas on each day of the week.

Zone Visit Requirements

The zone visits operate under strict terms and conditions, in order to keep the busy zone days running smoothly and efficiently. We would advise you book in for your zone visit well ahead of time as these days are often booked up several weeks in advance.

Zone visits must be booked at least two working days in advance. As mentioned above, book early to avoid disappointment.
You must have a clear account with us to qualify for a zone visit.
All work must be paid for at the time of the visit. A full call-out fee will be added for non-payment at the time. Payment can be made via izettle or cash.
The day before the visit, we will give you a two-hour time slot. The vet will arrive at some point during this two-hour window and you must be present, with your horse stabled, ready for the vet.

Zone Visits Coverage Areas

Below is a list of the main areas covered as part of our weekly zone visits scheme. Please see the maps below for more details.

Tuesday – Friday: Central Zone covering Ratley and Banbury and the immediate area surrounding our equine vet clinic.

Tuesday: Western zone covering parts of Cheltenham and The Cotswolds, including Chipping Campden. Also covers parts of Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

Wednesday: Covers our Southern zone, including The Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. Includes Chipping Norton and Bicester.

Thursday: Covers our Eastern zone, including parts of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Covers Rugby, Brackley, Towcester and Buckingham.

Friday: Covers our Northern zone, including Warwickshire. Includes Warwick, Coventry, Nuneaton and Walsall.
