Similarly to humans, horses that require long-term medication need to have a medical check up performed every six months in order for their prescriptions to be repeated. Avonvale Equine Vets can help manage your horse's medication in order to keep them healthy.
At Avonvale, we strive to make this a straightforward and hassle-free experience, with quick and easy to book services available at your convenience. We perform clinical examination and blood sampling as required to ensure the suitability of your horse’s medication and dosage, so that your horse remains in tip-top health.
Our independent equine vet practice provides an online prescription request service, so you can manage your horse’s prescriptions quickly and easily. We are also able to provide written prescriptions upon request.
Once your prescription request has been reviewed and signed off by one of our vets, our reception team will contact you to confirm details and take payment. Your horse’s medication can be posted to you or the written prescription emailed.
Please note: Some equine medications cannot be sent by post, so these will need to be collected from our practice or delivered for an additional fee.
